I was not comfortable with the mission that my boss asked me to do. He explained that I might be able to help gather evidence to terminate our cashier with cause.

Working as an accounting clerk, I had my table next to the cashier’s. The auditor had reported that the cashier had many receipts missing and her financial updates were not complete.

I do not know if my boss was overdoing the surveillance inside the workplace with all the covert DVR hidden cameras in the Exit sign, air purifier, air freshener, electrical outlets, and in our four wall clocks. With the recordings stored in their SD cards, I wonder how our boss will find the time.
