Okay, so to start, the MLM industry is not what it used to be, and unless you are willing to change your old habits, throw out your old ways, and challenge yourself to a new way of living and business building – then you may not make it long term.

You have to start thinking of yourself as more than just a company Rep. You must take it upon yourself to start developing the skill sets of a powerful marketer that is able to generate mlm leads and traffic at will.

And it is a shame, but most MLM companies do not train their reps on how to be an entrepreneur and develop their own leads. In order to do this, you need to do a few simple things

1. Brand yourself just like any successful company does. Think Apple, Dell, eBay, etc. 2. Position yourself as an expert in the eyes of your prospects.

Doing this will allow you to generate leads all day long and have them seek you out, and not the other way around.

A few of the unlimited ways you can do this are: Get yourself a blog (to Brand yourself), make videos and distribute them to youtube and other video sharing sites, write articles on topics people are looking for, use pay per click advertising. Offline, you can use print media to position yourself as an authority.

What it comes down to is that there are numerous strategies to build your MLM business today, BUT, you need to develop new skill sets that are that of a real entrepreneur and not just another company rep that has no posture, no leads, and no business.

To be a sought after successful network marketer and real entrepreneur, you must have the right mentorship from people who have gone before you. When you have this type of training, you can start to generate leads as early as tomorrow.
