Choosing The Best Marketing System

Choosing a marketing style is one of the first tasks as a Network marketer. Choose carefully, because the method you choose will be a key factor in determining the success of your business.

I began in MLM in 1998 and at the time my upline suggested I contact everyone I knew and introduce the business. They also encouraged me to give business cards to strangers or put flyers on cars and other ways to show the business to as many people as possible. This style of marketing can work but it’s extremely inefficient. It’s like trying to sell ice cubes to Eskimos for most of those people. They’re not interested in the product and have no need or desire to do the business.

There is still a place for person to person marketing but I’m much more selective when I do it. My primary business deals with discount travel so I like to approach people who are already in the travel and tourist business, such as travel agents or Bed and Breakfast owners and this has been quite effective but there are a limited number of these that I can contact.

The vast majority of my marketing is done on the Internet and is the style known as Attraction Marketing. I believe this is far and away the most powerful and efficient form of marketing. It immediately expands your market to include any place that people can access the Internet. And, it allows you to run your business from anywhere you can access the Internet. It also protects you from local economic slow downs by expanding your potential member base to include people everywhere.

Essential Attraction Marketing

The principles of Attraction Marketing are really quite simple. You create and offer valuable and informative content to give to interested people for FREE. Through the process of accessing this material, they will develop trust and respect for you as an expert in your field. You can also generate income for your self by offering affiliate and training tools at a small cost. In doing this , you are attracting people who are already interested in your business. You are also qualifying them by seeing who continues through you system. The most significant aspect of this is the personal branding that occurs. You establish your self as a specialist and mentor in your field. Lastly, you create the personal relationship needed for prospects to continue in your business.

The system brings people to your site, provides knowledge, and helps prospects to know about you. Your role is to promote the system then let the system do the selling.

This marketing system can be structured in a number of ways. I prefer to use my blog as the central component. Then I use a variety of methods to bring prospects to my site. Here are some of the tools and techniques that can be used to attract people to your blog or site.

The final component needed to make this system work is education. You must have in place a program that can train the new members of your downline to do the same thing.

When you can attract potential prospects, brand yourself as a leader, and train your associates to do the same, your business will explode!
